This Vietnamese recipe can be use for all meat. I used pork shoulder in this video to make bun thit nuong, but you can use beef, chicken, lamb… ect. But preferably faty meat.
Hard to beat this grilled lemongrass pork recipe. Way better than most vietnamese restaurants.

Meat Marinade ingredients:
3 lbs pork shoulder/butt (thinly sliced)
1 cup minced lemongrass
1 whole clove garlic (minced)
1 whole shallot (minced)
2 thai chili (minced)
1 tbls chicken granulated seasoning
1 tbls ground black pepper
1 tspn msg
1 tspn five spice powder
2 tbls sugar
4-5 tbls honey
2 tspn oyster sauce
4 tspn vegetable oil
Nuoc Mam Ingredients (fish sauce)
1 cup sugar
1 whole clove garlic
2 thai chili
1 lime (juice & Juice pods)
4-5 oz fish sauce
1.5 oz white vinegar
330 ml coconut water
Other ingredients in this video:
rice noodles, roasted peanuts, green onion oil, herbs and mints, red leaf lettuce, cucumbers.
