Today, I am showing you how to cook up a very easy Vietnamese dish. I don\’t know about you, but a lot of us asian loves morning glory (rau muống), as we also love clams and seafood! This classic Vietnamese dish, razor clams stir fried with morning glory / ong choy is one that brings back our homeland\’s memories. There are not too many restaurants that serves up this dish in the states. At least none that I\’ve gone to so far (if you do know of one, let me in 😉

ỐC MóNG TAY literally translates to \”fingernails clams\” is my favorite clams. The shells are thin and they are very meaty. They do look like long fingernails too lol. But fortunately, I got my work cut out in half because I found pre-cooked, de-shelled, razor clams at my local Hmart korean supermarket. ONLY $5.99/pkg (1lb), which was a total steal!

Morning glory / ong choy, you can get at Chinese or Vietnamese supermarket. Korean supermarket rarely have them.

These clams are awesome with just salt, peppers, and lime. The best way to enjoy the full flavor of the clams by itself.

Enjoy the video and be sure to let me know how my recipe turns out for you! 🙂
