Chinatown everywhere has been affected hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be hard for this, once famous tourist attraction spot, to recover like how it used to be. ChefQ takes an insider\’s look at how much it had changed.

I couldn\’t eat the dim sum in china town because there was no dine in at the time, so we opted to a nearby place; Monterey Park. NBC Seafood Restaurant had adapted well to the new rules and regulations during the COVID-19 pandemic. The dim sum here is ok, didn\’t wow me much. The price was pretty cheap though. If anyone is looking for affordable and 7/10 in taste, you should check it out.

Next was One Zo, in the same area. Their specialty is different flavored bobas for their milk tea drinks. Their boba milk tea is very unique. Definitely check them out and taste test every boba flavor they have.

Next was the STINKY TOFU! It had such a strong smell that I had to gag. It is a dish that is something that you would have to get used to to enjoy. This dish is well known in china, people can usually tell there\’s a stand that sells stinky tofu somewhere a few blocks away! The smell is STRONG!
