Korean Town, also famously known as K-Town in Los Angeles, is the center of food haven! Everyone in the States, knows that Korean BBQ is probably one of the top Korean dish that many people LOVE! But I wanted to explore outside the realm of Korean BBQ.

Korean food has been expanding fast, and many are getting to know the many different dishes that Korean locals eat. Though I am not with the live octopus crawling on my plates just yet (haven\’t seen a place that serves that here in the States). I am in LOVE with Korean Braised Beef dish.

Sun Nong Dan in K-Town LA is famous for their Galbi Jjim (braised beef short rib). The meat\’s tenderness is on point! Juicy and full of flavor from the Korean spice, along with a western twist of melted Mozzarella Cheese! It\’s worth every penny that we spent. The quality of the meat is top notch. We ordered the medium size for 3 of us, and still could not finish the big dish! I see many Korean locals enjoying the same dish with soju. I can tell you one thing, Koreans never enjoy a meaty meal without their soju! ;p

Next, we traveled a few blocks down for a unique soft serve ice cream. Bumsan Organic Milkbar serves up organic flavored ice cream, with a pretty cone to add! I got the Guava flavored soft serve with a Fruity Pebbles cone. The flavor and aroma is there, but I am not much of a sweet tooth so it was a little bit too sweet for me.
